Custom materials

Store, organize, and share your vibro-acoustic material parameters and files across your team, in one client-server database.

Acoustalink is Mecanum’s client-server database for vibro-acoustic material parameters, Biot and JCA/JCAL models, single-number ratings, and their associated files. The client installs on multiple Windows machines while the server runs on a robust MariaDB backend, so several users can access the same organized data at once. You add your own materials alongside the default library, and Mecanum’s measuring instruments connect directly to update parameters and attach measurement projects.

Store material parameters

Keep Biot and JCA/JCAL models, single-number ratings, and files (images, PDFs, measurement projects) in one structured place.

Add your own materials

Extend the default library with your own parameters and ratings, organized to fit your workflows.

Instrument connectivity

Mecanum’s instrument software includes an Acoustalink module to update parameters and attach projects directly.

Automotive industry

Give NVH and simulation teams one consistent source of validated material parameters to pull into FOAM-X and NOVA.

Aerospace industry

Share one material reference across users and sites, critical for weight- and certification-driven aerospace programs.

Material manufacturers

Centralize every characterized material, with its parameters, ratings, and files, in one structured, searchable database.

Laboratories

Connect your instruments directly to the database to store parameters and attach measurement projects as you test.

Universities

Build a shared, organized library of measured materials for teaching, research, and reproducible results.
