Noureddine Atalla
Ing., Ph.D.Professor of engineering at the University of Sherbrooke, Noureddine holds a master’s degree from the University of Technology of Compiègne in France, a doctorate in ocean engineering from Florida Atlantic University in the United States as well as an engineering degree from Quebec. Noureddine specializes in computational vibroacoustics and acoustic materials. He is recognized by the scientific community worldwide for his knowledge and his 200 scientific publications.
Raymond Panneton
Ing., Ph.D.Professor of engineering at the University of Sherbrooke and holder of a doctorate in mechanical engineering with a spacialty in vibroacoustics from the University of Sherbrooke, Raymond is an expert in modeling, characterization and optimization of acoustic poroelastic materials. He has published over 250 papers on acoustics and vibration and has recetly set up a research team on ecological and structured acoustic materials.
Julien Biboud
Ing., M.Sc.A.Holder of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering as well as a research-type master’s degree in acoustic eco-design from the University of Sherbrooke, Julien has more than 10 years of experience in the field of acoustics, vibration and characterization of acoustic materials. Julien is certified Lean – 6 Sigma and he was commercial exhibition director of the 26th international congress of acoustics and vibration (ICSV26).
Kévin Verdière
Ing., Ph.D.Holder of a master’s degree and a doctorate in mechanical engineering specializing in acoustics from the University of Sherbrooke, Kévin has more than 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering and has published more than 10 scientific articles. He worked on a postdoctoral project on the development and improvement of technologies dedicated to the characterization of materials used for noise control.
Rémy Oddo
B. Ing.Holder of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in acoustics, Rémy has more than 35 years of experience in acoustics and vibrations. Among other things, he has worked in the NVH sector, in the transportation industry, in consulting and as a research assistant at the basic science level. Thanks to his vast experience, Rémy will certainly be able to identify your acoustic and vibration problems.
Jean-Philippe Regnard
B. Ing., M.Sc.A.In the acoustic field since 1999, Jean-Philippe holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with a specialization in acoustics from the Toulouse University, in France, as well as a research master’s degree in acoustic ecoconception from the University of Sherbrooke. He is a Mecanum project manager since 2016.
Patrick Bouché
Ing., Ph.D.Patrick holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke as well as a doctorate in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke specializing in the development of acoustic and aeroacoustic meta-materials. Patrick has 8 years of experience in acoustics and was the Canadian leader of the German-Canadian project NAIMMTA (New Acoustic Insulation Meta-Material Technology for Aerospace) for the development of a new generation of thermal insulation for aviation acoustics.
Vincent Paquet
Ing.Graduated with a technical and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Vincent has developed an interest for the acoustics and vibration industry through my university studies at the École de Technologie Supérieur.
His career at Mecanum started at the end of his studies in 2020, first as a project manager, then as production manager. He’s involved in all stages of the design and production of our measuring equipments. He also enjoys supporting research and prototyping projects.
Rabii Slimane
ING., M.A.Sc.Passionate about new technologies, innovation, and engineering challenges, Rabii holds a polytechnic engineering degree from the Polytechnic School of Tunisia, as well as a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sherbrooke. His work centers on product development and R&D projects, leveraging advanced technologies to create practical and efficient engineering solutions.
Mélina Plottin
Ing.Holder of a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Mélina has accumulated more than ten years of experience in quality control and ISO systems management in various manufacturing sectors. She then made a shift into communications management and marketing when joining Mecanum team.
Léon Djikpor
M.A., M.SC.Léon supports industrial, institutional, and academic clients in developing high value-added solutions in acoustics, vibration, and advanced instrumentation. With over 17 years of experience in business development and strategic account management, he operates at the intersection of technical challenges and growth objectives.
He holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Marketing as well as a Master’s degree in Communication and Journalism. He has recently strengthened his expertise through specialized training in sales and consulting at ÉMICA (Montreal) and in commercial representation at CFP 24-Juin (Sherbrooke).
