Measured properties

Absorption in diffuse fields

Diffuse field sound absorption (SAA, NRC, Aw) is based on ASTM C423 or SAE J2883 standards. Sabine’s method is used to determine the reverberation time of our MATC.

Transmission loss in diffuse fields

Diffuse field transmission loss (STC, Rw) is based on ISO 15186 standard. The intensity scan method is used to determine the sound power that goes through the panel.
